POSITIVE EDUCATION IN PRACTICE: CASE STUDIES FROM THE TRENCHES

Diane Broomfield

Born in Ireland, I have lived and worked overseas all my life; teaching Biology/Science in the UK, Botswana and New Zealand.  Motivated by an interest in human behaviour, I joined the RTLB  Service and completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Education and Professional Development through Victoria University in 2007.  I particularly enjoy systems work such as PB4L, IYT and currently am a member of the Mata Nui O Kahungungu Kahui Ako steering group. Over thirteen years I enjoy close working relationship across all thirteen schools in the Wairoa District, and live with my husband on our beautiful coastal small holding overlooking Hawkes Bay.
